Nokia, the Finnish company that was the world’s largest cellphone maker until 2007 is back in the news-with a lawsuit against Apple.
The lawsuits centers on displays, user interfaces, mobile software, wireless antennas, chipsets, and video coding. The lawsuits are a result of years of failed negotiations with each other. Initially, the suits were filed in 2 countries concerning 32 patents. Now the suits filed rose globally in 11 different countries from the US to Japan and with a rise to 40 different inventions.

Microsoft bought NOKIA Company on 2014 and gave them a condition that the company won’t be able to launch any handset to the market before 2016. But comparing to other smartphones, Microsoft was unable to evolve their Windows OS smartphones properly. And the results were obvious. Microsoft was unable to keep up with the competitive smartphone market.
